Dr. Amit Agarwala, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of experience, has received a largely positive response from patients, reflected in his overall rating of 5 out of 5 based on 363 reviews. Many patients commend his expertise, particularly in spinal surgery, and appreciate his thorough explanations of conditions and treatment options. His bedside manner is frequently highlighted, with patients noting that he listens attentively and respects their concerns. The staff at his practice also receives praise for their professionalism and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients. However, there are mixed reviews regarding aspects of patient care. Some patients express dissatisfaction with the level of attention they received during appointments, citing feelings of being rushed or not adequately cared for. A few reviews mention issues with staff punctuality and perceived arrogance from Dr. Agarwala, suggesting that not all interactions meet the high expectations set by the majority of positive feedback. Notably, while many patients report successful outcomes from surgeries, there are isolated accounts of complications that have led to significant distress, underscoring the importance of thorough pre-surgical discussions. Overall, prospective patients may find Dr. Agarwala's extensive experience and favorable patient ratings compelling, but they should also consider the variability in patient experiences, particularly regarding appointment dynamics and post-operative care.
