Dr. Andrew Peterson, DO, an internist in Biloxi, MS, has garnered a mixed overall sentiment from patients, reflected in his average rating of 3.7 out of 5 based on 18 reviews. While many patients express satisfaction with their experiences, highlighting his respectful demeanor, attentive listening, and thorough explanations of conditions, a notable portion of reviews also reflect dissatisfaction, particularly regarding the likelihood of recommending him to others. Common themes of praise include Dr. Peterson's ability to make patients feel respected and listened to, as well as his staff's friendliness and the unhurried nature of appointments. Patients appreciate that he takes the time to answer questions and explain medical conditions clearly. However, criticisms arise from a significant minority, with 28% of reviews rating him poorly, indicating potential issues with patient satisfaction that may warrant further investigation. Specific concerns were not detailed in the reviews, but the disparity in ratings suggests that while many patients have positive experiences, there are enough negative experiences to impact his overall rating. For prospective patients considering Dr. Peterson, it may be beneficial to weigh these mixed reviews carefully, noting the positive feedback on communication and staff interaction against the less favorable ratings regarding overall satisfaction.
