Dr. Angela Gallegos-Macias, a family medicine physician in Albuquerque, New Mexico, has received a mixed overall sentiment from her patients. While some reviews highlight her extensive experience of over 20 years and her expertise in treating various conditions such as obesity and diabetes, the overall patient experience rating is notably low, with a score of 2.0 out of 5. Many patients express dissatisfaction with their interactions, indicating a lack of warmth and professionalism in her approach. Common themes in praise include her thoroughness in examinations and her ability to address a range of health issues. However, criticism frequently centers on her perceived unprofessionalism, with several patients describing her as curt and uncaring. Additionally, there are mentions of long wait times and scheduling challenges, which may contribute to the overall negative experiences reported. Notably, a significant percentage of reviews reflect a willingness to recommend her services, but this is overshadowed by a high proportion of patients who would not return or recommend her to others. In summary, potential patients should weigh Dr. Gallegos-Macias's extensive experience and medical expertise against the concerns regarding her bedside manner and patient interactions. Those seeking a more personable approach may want to consider these factors before making an appointment.
