Overall, patient sentiment towards Dr. David Black, MD, is predominantly positive, with a significant number of reviews highlighting his expertise and compassionate care. Many patients commend his thoroughness in addressing concerns and his ability to provide clear explanations about their conditions and treatment options. His staff is frequently praised for being helpful and professional, contributing to a positive overall experience for patients. However, there are some mixed reviews that raise concerns about specific aspects of care. A few patients reported dissatisfaction with the diagnostic process, mentioning instances where they felt their primary concerns were overlooked during examinations. Additionally, there are criticisms regarding communication and the handling of referrals, with some patients feeling discriminated against based on their body mass index (BMI). In summary, while Dr. Black is highly regarded for his surgical skills and patient care, potential patients should be aware of the mixed feedback regarding diagnostic thoroughness and communication issues.
