Dr. Evan Lederman, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with over 35 years of experience, has garnered a highly positive overall sentiment from his patients, reflected in an impressive 4.8-star rating based on 171 reviews. Many patients commend his expertise, particularly in shoulder and upper arm surgery, and appreciate his thoroughness in explaining conditions and treatment options. Common themes in praise include his attentive bedside manner, the friendliness of his staff, and the efficient scheduling of appointments. Patients frequently mention feeling respected and treated as individuals rather than just cases, which enhances their trust in his medical decisions. However, some criticisms have emerged, particularly regarding follow-up care and staff familiarity with processes related to veteran patients. A few reviews indicate that patients experienced challenges with communication and obtaining necessary authorizations for care, leading to frustrations post-surgery. Despite these concerns, the majority of feedback highlights Dr. Lederman's surgical skills and the positive outcomes of his procedures, making him a highly recommended choice for those seeking orthopedic care, especially for shoulder-related issues.
