Dr. Frederic Pollock, MD, an orthopedic surgeon in Charleston, WV, has received a mixed overall sentiment from patients, reflected in his average rating of 3.2 out of 5 based on nine reviews. While some patients appreciate his extensive experience and the ease of scheduling appointments, others express dissatisfaction with their interactions during consultations. Common themes in praise include the straightforward appointment scheduling process and high satisfaction with the affiliated hospital, CAMC General Hospital. Patients have noted Dr. Pollock's expertise in orthopedic surgery, which may be reassuring for those seeking specialized care. However, criticisms frequently highlight issues such as a perceived lack of communication, with patients feeling that he did not adequately listen to their concerns or explain their conditions. Several reviews mention that appointments felt rushed, leading to a lack of trust in the provider's decisions. Overall, prospective patients may find value in Dr. Pollock's experience and the convenience of his practice, but they should be prepared for potentially limited interaction and communication during their visits.
