Overall, patient sentiment towards Dr. Jess Kirby, MD is generally positive, with an average rating of 4.0 out of 5 based on 21 reviews. A significant portion of patients (76%) rated him five stars, indicating a strong level of satisfaction with his services. Many patients appreciate his ability to explain conditions clearly, demonstrating good communication skills and fostering a sense of trustworthiness. Additionally, the friendliness of the staff and the ease of scheduling appointments are frequently highlighted as positive aspects of the patient experience. However, there are some criticisms noted in the reviews. A few patients expressed dissatisfaction with their surgical outcomes, particularly regarding hip replacement procedures, which led to prolonged pain and complications. One patient mentioned multiple follow-up visits and a subsequent surgery with another surgeon that resolved their issues, suggesting that there may be variability in surgical success. Despite these concerns, the majority of reviews reflect a favorable view of Dr. Kirby's expertise and bedside manner, making him a viable option for those seeking orthopedic care, especially for knee and lower limb issues.
