Dr. John Layden, MD, a cardiologist in Queensbury, NY, has garnered a mixed overall patient sentiment, reflected in a 2.5-star rating based on two reviews. While some patients express satisfaction with their experiences, the low rating indicates significant room for improvement. Common themes of praise include Dr. Layden's good communication skills, thorough explanations of conditions and treatments, and the friendly demeanor of his staff. Patients appreciated that he took the time to listen and answer their questions, and many felt that their appointments were not rushed. Additionally, some reviews highlighted the efficiency of appointment scheduling and the successful outcomes of procedures, such as an A-fib electric shock treatment. On the criticism side, the reviews do not provide specific negative feedback, but the overall low rating suggests that some patients may have experienced issues that were not explicitly detailed. Notably, while there are mentions of positive experiences, the lack of high ratings (no 5-star reviews) could indicate that patient expectations were not fully met. Overall, potential patients might consider Dr. Layden's extensive experience and positive aspects of care, but they should also be aware of the mixed reviews when deciding whether to seek his services.
