Dr. Macario Corpuz, MD, has received a mixed overall sentiment from patients, reflected in his average rating of 2.8 out of 5 stars based on 25 reviews. While some patients express satisfaction with their experiences, noting his pleasant demeanor and willingness to answer questions, a significant portion of reviews highlight dissatisfaction, particularly regarding billing practices and perceived lack of focus during consultations. Common themes of praise include Dr. Corpuz's approachable bedside manner and his ability to engage with patients on a personal level. Many patients appreciate his thoroughness in addressing their medical concerns and the time he takes to explain treatment options. However, criticisms often center around unexpected charges for services not directly related to the visit, as well as concerns about the doctor’s focus on psychological issues during routine medical appointments. Notably, one patient mentioned receiving a bill for psychiatric counseling after a brief personal discussion, which raised concerns about billing transparency. Overall, potential patients may find Dr. Corpuz's compassionate approach appealing, but they should be aware of possible billing issues and ensure clarity on the nature of their visits to avoid unexpected charges.
