Overall, patient sentiment for Dr. Marc Chodos, MD, is generally positive, reflected in a 4.1-star rating based on 25 reviews. Many patients appreciate his extensive experience of over 25 years in orthopedic surgery, as well as his ability to explain conditions clearly and thoroughly. Reviewers frequently mention his friendly demeanor and the supportive nature of his staff, contributing to a comfortable patient experience. Additionally, patients feel that he listens attentively and makes time for their concerns, which enhances their trust in his medical decisions. However, there are some criticisms noted in the reviews. A small percentage of patients expressed dissatisfaction, with 20% rating him poorly, citing issues such as long wait times and perceived rushed appointments. These concerns suggest that while many patients have had positive experiences, there are areas for improvement, particularly regarding appointment management and patient flow. Notable specifics that patients mention include Dr. Chodos's proficiency in treating conditions like ankle fractures, which he handles more frequently than similar providers. His affiliation with George Washington University Hospital also adds to his credibility, as it is recognized as a reputable institution. Overall, prospective patients may find Dr. Chodos a competent and caring orthopedic surgeon, but they should be prepared for potential wait times.
