Dr. Mary Scheimann, MD, an internist in Guilford, Connecticut, has garnered a largely positive sentiment from her patients, reflected in a 4.5-star rating based on 13 reviews. Many patients highly recommend her, appreciating her extensive experience of over 35 years and her affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital. Common themes in praise include her thoroughness during examinations, clarity in explaining medical conditions, and a friendly, caring attitude. Patients also noted that she takes the time to listen to their concerns and answers questions effectively, contributing to a feeling of trust and satisfaction with their care. However, there are some criticisms to consider. A few patients expressed dissatisfaction regarding wait times and the responsiveness of the office staff. Additionally, a small percentage of reviews indicated experiences that did not meet their expectations, particularly regarding follow-up care. Notably, patients frequently mentioned the convenience of telehealth appointments, which Dr. Scheimann offers, as a beneficial aspect of her practice. Overall, prospective patients may find Dr. Scheimann to be a knowledgeable and compassionate physician, but they should be aware of potential administrative challenges.
