Dr. Mitchell Goldflies, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with over 45 years of experience, has garnered a mixed overall patient sentiment, reflected in his 3.4-star rating based on 71 reviews. While a majority of patients (56%) rated him with five stars, a significant portion (38%) expressed dissatisfaction, indicating a notable divide in patient experiences. Common themes of praise include Dr. Goldflies' extensive experience and expertise in orthopedic surgery, particularly in treating conditions like knee injuries and arthritis. Some patients appreciated his thoroughness during examinations and his ability to address specific health concerns. However, criticisms frequently highlight issues with communication, as many patients felt that he did not listen to their questions or explain their conditions adequately. Additionally, reviews mention a lack of respect and friendliness from both Dr. Goldflies and his staff, with some patients feeling rushed during appointments. Overall, potential patients considering Dr. Goldflies should weigh his extensive experience against the reported communication challenges and staff interactions. Those seeking a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon may find value in his expertise, but they should be prepared for possible issues with the patient-provider relationship and office environment.
