Dr. Paul Benoit, MD, an orthopedic surgeon affiliated with Eastern Maine Medical Center, has received a mixed overall patient sentiment, reflected in his average rating of 3 out of 5 stars based on 53 reviews. While some patients appreciate his expertise and friendly demeanor, others express dissatisfaction with aspects of the care they received, particularly regarding communication and follow-up. Common themes in praise include Dr. Benoit's friendly attitude and perceived thoroughness during examinations. Patients noted that he is approachable and caring, which contributes positively to their experience. However, criticisms often center around his ability to answer questions adequately and the clarity of his follow-up instructions, with several reviews indicating that patients felt their concerns were not addressed satisfactorily. Additionally, some patients reported frustrations with scheduling procedures, highlighting a lack of responsiveness from the office staff. Notably, patients frequently mention issues with the office's administrative processes, particularly in relation to scheduling surgeries and follow-up care.
