Overall, patient sentiment regarding Dr. Gregg Yamada is mixed. While a significant portion of reviews express satisfaction with his care, professionalism, and knowledge, there are notable criticisms that highlight serious concerns about his communication and patient management skills. Common themes in praise include Dr. Yamada's expertise and his ability to engage with patients effectively. Many reviewers appreciate his thoroughness, stating that he takes the time to listen and answer questions, which contributes to a positive experience. Additionally, patients often commend his staff for being helpful and punctual, enhancing the overall visit. On the other hand, criticisms focus on Dr. Yamada's perceived lack of attentiveness during consultations. Some patients report feeling that he prioritizes self-promotion over listening to their concerns, leading to inadequate care. Specific incidents, such as failing to diagnose critical conditions or not following up appropriately, have raised alarms among patients, particularly regarding elderly patients with complex health issues. These mixed reviews suggest that while Dr. Yamada has many satisfied patients, potential new patients should consider these concerns and may want to approach their visits with caution.
