Overall, patient sentiment regarding Dr. Patrick Olson, MD, is predominantly positive, with a high rating of 4.7 out of 5 based on 61 reviews. Many patients commend his expertise, particularly in hand and wrist surgery, and appreciate his empathetic and professional demeanor. The scheduling process is noted as efficient, and the friendliness of the staff is frequently highlighted, contributing to a welcoming environment. However, there are some criticisms that should be considered. A few patients expressed feelings of not being respected during their visits, mentioning that Dr. Olson did not adequately listen to their concerns or answer their questions. Additionally, there are comments about a lack of thorough explanations regarding conditions and treatment options. These mixed experiences suggest that while many patients have had positive interactions, there are areas for improvement in communication and patient engagement. Notably, patients repeatedly mention Dr. Olson's ability to make surgical experiences smoother and recovery easier, which reflects his skill and attentiveness during procedures. Overall, prospective patients may find Dr. Olson a competent and caring surgeon, but they should be prepared to advocate for their needs during consultations.
