Dr. Margo Vassar, MD, a cardiologist based in Honolulu, HI, has received a mixed overall sentiment from patients. While some patients express satisfaction with her care, particularly highlighting her reassuring demeanor and thorough explanations of conditions and treatments, the overall rating stands at a modest 2.5 out of 5. This suggests that experiences may vary significantly among patients. Common themes in praise include Dr. Vassar's ability to explain complex medical conditions clearly and her courteous and accommodating staff. Patients appreciate her reassuring approach, with one reviewer noting a positive transition from a previous cardiologist to Dr. Vassar. However, criticisms arise regarding her responsiveness; many patients feel that she does not take sufficient time to answer questions or provide necessary follow-up care. Additionally, the reviews indicate that while the office is clean and staff are courteous, the overall patient experience may be hindered by perceived deficiencies in communication and follow-up. Notably, Dr. Vassar specializes in various cardiovascular conditions and procedures, including heart disease, arrhythmias, and heart failure. She has over 20 years of experience and is affiliated with The Queens Medical Center. Patients considering her services should weigh her expertise and the positive aspects of her care against the concerns regarding communication and follow-up.
